Senior Manager, Pro Training Production + Delivery

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Training Services Team at Unity! In this role, you will be responsible for owning the content strategy, planning, production, and delivery of our professional training programs. You will direct a team of instructional designers and technical trainers who will collaborate with you to build revenue-generating instructor-led training and on-demand self-paced courses for diverse audiences and industries. You will use your leadership background and people management experience to lead and develop successful team members that build premium training experiences for Unity customers globally. The training your team builds and delivers will provide customers with the skills they need to succeed with Unity products and help grow the business significantly for years to come!
What you’ll be doing
- Cultivate a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with our go-to-market (GTM) team’s goals and objectives.
- Identify market trends and customer needs to ensure our training content and credentialing strategy remains relevant and up to date.
- Build detailed content plans, including roadmaps, timelines, resources, and measurement.
- Continuously evaluate training delivery methods and incorporate new technologies or techniques to improve the learning experience.
What we’re looking for
- Strong leadership skills to empower your team.
- In-depth knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and training methodologies.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and content authoring tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
You might also have
- Experience leading professional training operations including, but not limited to, conducting assessments, surveys, and interviews to resolve customer training requirements and align them with business objectives.
- A background in running LMS's that facilitate the administration, delivery, tracking, and reporting of training programs. This includes user access, content uploads, course enrollments, and generating reports on training participation and performance.
- Experience working closely with sales and commercial teams to find opportunities and support renewals and/or a customer success background handling onboarding and adoption initiatives, maintaining positive relationships with cross functional partners, proactive support and issue resolution, and customer health monitoring by supervising key performance indicators.
