Job Description Summary:

As a key member of the Strategic Ingredients Sourcing (SIS) Team, Senior Manager of Procurement, Strategic Insights and Data Analytics, plays a crucial role in advancing the modernization and digitization of the SIS end-to-end procurement process, driving efficiency, effectiveness and value creation, which will be achieved through the implementation and continuous improvement of key workstreams around Sourcing, Strategy, Negotiation, and Risk Management. The Senior Manager of Procurement, Strategic Insights and Data Analytics creates, executes, and drives adoption of these digital transformation efforts, leveraging the network effect and working in close collaboration with various stakeholders both internal and external to the SIS Team. This role is also involved in Sourcing activities and develops a strong understanding of the procurement process and global sourcing strategies.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Utilize insights from data analytics to support the identification of sourcing opportunities, suppliers’ selection, and effective negotiations.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier landscapes, and sourcing price movements to anticipate risks and opportunities within the supply chain. Translate complex data sets into actionable insights for strategic planning.
  • Data Management and Analytics: Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics, including predictive modelling and machine learning, to identify trends and insights within procurement data. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across procurement systems and databases.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with team members as well as key stakeholders across different departments. Present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to inform decision-making processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within procurement operations. Implement best practices for data management and analytics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Development and deployment of user-friendly advanced analytics solutions of by leveraging SIS data lake.
  • Champion the implementation of digital solutions and standards.
  • Enable procurement effectiveness by developing and applying tools and KPIs.
  • Design, develop, and implement a fully functional, responsive, user-friendly website

Education Requirements & Related Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Information Technology or Data science is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, SQL, Azure Synapse, Python, R and DAX are preferred.
  • 5 - 7 years' working experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams or projects.
  • Knowledge in project management methodology and experience deploying projects in waterfall and agile framework.

  • Use data and apply robust analytics to model various scenarios and analyze impact, risks, and benefits to inform and recommend business decisions.
  • Expertise in data visualization and business intelligence tools like Microsoft Power BI is essential.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, data mining, and data cleansing is important for handling large datasets. Familiarity with ETL processes and tools is also crucial for streamlining data integration and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Procurement: sourcing and supply chain management.
  • Experience in website building, including knowledge of web development frameworks (e.g. Django) and experience with CMS platforms is preferred.

Pay Range:

$106,300 - $130,700

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
