We are looking for a person who is passionate about leading the procurement function, setting the strategic direction to support our growth, enhancing and administering our procurement and third party risk processes and policies while leading sourcing and negotiating agreements with vendors for our non technology spend. Â
What you’ll do:
- Be the primary gatekeeper to review new vendor requests from a compliance and vendor screening perspective. In this role you will be the key point of engagement for vendors and business owners as they assess the security, IT, legal, and financial engagement with potential new vendors
- Negotiate, source, and assist business partners with technology, media, G&A and SOW engagements. Manage contracts and license agreements to ensure that obligations are met and the process for tracking renewals or replacement of existing agreements is managed and scalable
- Partner with internal stakeholders to meet their purchasing needs while prioritizing ROI, cost efficiency, and value
- Implement and improve Procurement policies and operating procedures for the team members
- Partner and collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Compliance, Legal and business stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Business Systems team and power users to enhance e-procurement system for better user experience for employees and achieve operational efficiencies for Procurement, AP and accounting teams
- Define and own from concept to maturity the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, establishing and improving templates, supplier scorecards, and supporting components for business partners, project managers to use in their vendor assessments
- Lead and foster business engagement with Engineering, Marketing, HR, Facilities and other G&A teams in supporting their requests and managing improvement feedback

- Own procurement systems strategy and support implementations as needed in partnership with our Head of Financial Systems
- Own relationships and partner with Intuit procurement and sourcing team
Minimum Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (Master’s degree Prefered) in Supply Chain management, Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant work experience
- 8+ years of experience in similar roles demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility
Preferred Qualifications:
- Passionate about leading a procurement team, enhancing procurement best practices and being the face of Procurement for our employees and vendors
- Motivated in driving company-wide change, leading spend optimization through innovative policies and system solutions
- Demonstrated experience in delivering highly effective, operationally excellent, scalable programs and processes
- Enterprise level Procure to Pay system implementation experience (e.g. Coupa)
- Strong understanding of third party risk processes, full cycle vendor management , source to pay processes, systems and controls
- Highly experienced in procurement and sourcing professional with experience in managing the end-to-end procurement process, procurement systems and strategic sourcing

It’s all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $144,141 to $179,719, plus equity and benefits.
