Job Description:
As the Sr. Manager, Kabbage Line of Credit Product Analytics, you will be responsible for leading the analytics and performance reporting for one or more of the product initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging a deep understanding of product data to drive business performance through data-driven decision making. The candidate should bridge the technical and strategic divide, being as comfortable writing complex queries as they are presenting actionable insights to senior leadership.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with the Kabbage Line of Credit Product team to define the end-to-end analytical needs for new initiatives including identifying data needs to effectively measure on-going performance, recommending analytics to track initiative success, and building tracking tools to monitor and inform capability enhancements on an ongoing basis
- Effectively communicate recommendations based on analyses to senior leadership teams, often the decision makers of long-term product strategy
- Become an expert in Kabbage products and develop deep understanding of the customer experience, with an eye for relating it back to analytical needs and capabilities
- Understand the systems and business processes that populate important systems with product data and establish yourself as the product domain expert for data and analytics needs
- Partner with business stakeholders to define most relevant KPIs and create scalable, user-friendly reports and dashboards (often in Tableau) that provide visibility into key product metrics and trends
What we're looking for in you:
- 5+ years of experience in an analytical role, performing deep-dive analyses and defining key business metrics that drive strategy; Financial services experiences is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, engineering, math, science, economics). Advanced degrees preferred
- Experience collaborating with product teams on net new product initiatives to discover their unique business needs and translate them into insightful analytics and regular reporting
- Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication, adjusting message to audience and succinctly summarizing complex concepts
- Extremely proficient in SQL with the ability to navigate and connect disparate datasets
- Extensive experience with Tableau and/or other analytical tools and visualization software (e.g., Qlik, Looker)
- Proficiency in a scripting language (Python or R) for data analysis is a plus
