Senior Manager, Product and Engineering - Checkout

Job Description

What does this role involve

• You will lead and manage the Checkout domain (Product and Engineering in Consumer Technology Department) where together with an experienced group of engineers and product specialists, you will develop probably the most popular purchasing process in Poland (and soon the most popular in Europe ;))! 
• Role includes people management, accountability for product management and tech performance within domain, goals and KPIs management, managing a budget and making forecasts for tech and product metrics, product business performance management, managing resources allocation and executing a recruitment plan
• You will be accountable for domain’s vision/strategy and tactics creation to continue building an exceptional checkout experience 
• Collaborating with tech & non-tech stakeholders to ensure alignment, prioritization and execution 
• Defining products and technology development roadmap to meet consumer needs and delivering KPIs
• Accountability within domain for tech services’ performance, stability, scalability and security 
• Leading people and ensuring engagement
• Be accountable for various of projects and programs in the area and deliverables execution
• Leading the preparation of strategic product and tech concepts, business justifications for new initiatives and ensuring gating process (verifications, approvals, alignment, plans)

This is the right job for you, if

• You have a 5+ experience in leading product and engineering teams
• You have past experience in consumer facing e-commerce tech product management
• You have the ability to create a domain vision/strategy/tactics and execute on it
• You are a leader who can engage and motivate the team
• You have the ability to work with numbers (sizing, Business cases, etc.) 
• You are experienced in managing multiple teams
• You have structured way of working 
• You have an ability to think strategically
• You have the ability to work in a large organization and effectively collaborate across departments
• You are excellent at prioritizing
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills 
• You have excellent written and spoken English and Polish skills
• You have experience in working backwards methodology (nice to have)
