What does this role involve

  • You will define and implement the product and engineering roadmap for the mobile app, aligning with the company's overall vision and strategic objectives.

  • Role includes people management, accountability for product management and tech performance within domain, goals and KPIs management, managing a budget and making forecasts for tech and product metrics, product business performance management, managing resources allocation and executing a recruitment plan

  • You will lead and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, engineers, and designers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

  • Your role will drive the full product lifecycle, from ideation and design to development, testing, and launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and functionalities.

  • You will provide technical guidance and oversight, ensuring the app is built on a scalable, robust, and secure architecture that can support future growth and innovation.

  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, customer support, and operations, to ensure alignment and drive business results.

  • You will stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning, and other innovations to enhance the app's capabilities and user experience.

  • Leading the preparation of strategic product and tech concepts, business justifications for new initiatives and ensuring gating process (verifications, approvals, alignment, plans).

  • You have 5+ experience in leading mobile products and engineering teams

  • You have a proven ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a culture of high performance and innovation

  • You have past experience in consumer-facing e-commerce tech product management and you have a passion for creating exceptional user experiences, with a focus on usability, accessibility, and personalization.

  • You have the ability to create a product vision/strategy/tactics and execute on it

  • You have the ability to work with numbers (sizing, Business cases, etc.), and you have the ability to leverage data and insights to inform product decisions and measure success.

  • You are experienced in managing multiple teams

  • You have structured way of working 

  • You have an ability to think strategically

  • You have the ability to work in a large organization and effectively collaborate across departments

  • You are excellent at prioritizing

  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across teams.

  • You have excellent written and spoken English and Polish skills

  • You have experience in working backwards methodology (nice to have)
