Senior Manager, Product and Engineering - One by Allegro

Job Description

Delivery Experience is one of the main areas of Allegro covering all delivery-related aspects - from Customer & Merchant to carrier integrations. One of key investments in Delivery Experience is its own Delivery Network: One by Allegro, a comprehensive and convenient set of delivery services for buyers and sellers both in Poland and Czechia (including a network of One Box & One points).

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Product and Engineering to lead our technology teams (software development and product management) responsible for building One by Allegro both in Poland and Czechia. In this role, you will be responsible for merchant- and customer-facing products as well as for technology-related aspects of One by Allegro and you will have a real impact on the design of the product as a whole, collaborating with the commercial and operations teams.

What does this role involve

• Product shaping (creating new products, revising existing one, taking part in long-term planning)

• Managing development teams and Product Managers responsible for developing and maintaining One Delivery products & services

• Developing people: Engineering Managers, Individual contributors, Product Managers, Principal Software Engineers

• Quarterly planning / RAMP processes / OP1

• Coordinating cooperation with other teams within Allegro Mall Group, external carriers/providers and Business/Operations stakeholders (being a partner for the business)

• IT contractors management 

• Day-to-day people management (all corporate processes EYR/Pay review), constant restructuring of teams’ composition according to business needs

• You have an ability to think strategically

• You are excellent at Problem-solving and critical thinking

• You have excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills

• You have good written and spoken English skills
