Senior Manager, Product Marketing - Compute@Edge

*This role will be a hybrid position. It is expected that you will be in the office 2-3 times/week. Preference is for this candidate to be in San Francisco, New York, or Denver.*
Fastly is looking for a Senior Manager of Product Marketing to join our core product marketing team. In this role, you will shape the future of serverless compute at the edge, a $4.5B market. Our compute platform is defining the vision of edge and serverless development and is used by some of the biggest companies in the world to build high scale and low latency applications that run globally.
This is a high potential role, with significant growth opportunity. It requires close collaboration with multiple teams, including product management, analyst relations, marketing communications, developer relations and sales. The ideal candidate should possess good technical acumen as well as prior management experience. A solid understanding of enterprise software development and the needs of application developers is a strong plus.Â

What You'll Do
- Own and lead all go-to-market efforts for Fastlyâs edge compute offering
- Work with product management to distill key functionality and benefits into clear compelling use cases and value-based messaging
- Embrace a product-lead growth mindset to unlock new routes to market where DevOps teams are key influencers in procurement decisions
- Work with the product management team to provide input on product strategy, pricing and packaging
- Own the creation and deliver of sales training and other assets used in the sales cycle
- Craft and develop compelling customer content and tools (presentations, whitepapers, infographics, webinars etc.) that move prospects along the buyer journey
- Collaborate with our growth marketing team to support pipeline generation through the creation of compelling campaign messaging and assets
- Work with sales engineers to build demos that highlight our most compelling compute use cases
- Collaborate with partner marketing and channel sales teams to support our edge ecosystem partner initiatives
- Work with analyst relations and act as a spokesperson to ensure the analyst community understands our compute product line narratives and value propositions
- Represent our compute offerings in company QBRs and other strategic cross-functional efforts
- Build and lead a small, diverse team of product marketers to support the above efforts
What We're Looking For
- 10-15 years of product marketing experience with strong preference for candidates whoâve worked on developer or DevOps-focused products and services
- 3-4 years of management experience
- Strong technical acumen and ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts into compelling value propsÂ
- Strong analytical abilities coupled with experience sizing and prioritizing market opportunities
- Excellent copywriting, editing and communication skills
- Highly competent and confident presenter and trainer
- Ability to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
- Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and process or create new processes as needed
- Ability to go into a Fastly office 2-3 times/weekÂ
In accordance with applicable law, Fastlyâs minimum base pay for this role if hired in Colorado is $147,000 per year. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Fastly's equity plan. Final offer amount will be at the companyâs sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations. Note that this role is available to candidates outside of Colorado and different minimum compensation may apply.
