Senior Manager, Production

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Production  to manage both our production department members and project management process to deliver a AAA action-adventure game while retaining our company values. Your ultimate strengths are a mix of hard project management skills, AAA game development experience and soft people skills that you use to get large teams to adhere to a vision, within scope and schedule requirements. 

The valuable final products for this role are a world-class project management team, a sustainable management process and the game’s overall schedule. You will set what good looks like for those products and ensure continued execution to achieve both company and project goals. 

Responsibilities:  

• Own and manage the cross-department product schedule, budget and related game deliverables all the way through to final candidate deliverable. Ensures the game’s department schedules synchronize into one cohesive game plan. 
• Set, define, execute on and advocate for project management standards across the studio.  
• Manage the game plan and quality management across all production departments. Review all producer’s plans and ensure they are executed properly. 
• Work collaboratively with directors and producers to make decisions that achieve the scope and quality requirements for the game. 
• Provide internal and external executive summaries of the game development progress based on production data. 
• Manage and mitigate risks across the execution of the game development plan. 
• Assemble efficiency data from the production tracking system and use that data in production reports that steer the production forward. 
• Supervise, mentor and provide career feedback for producers and project managers. 

Requirements & Skills:  

• Project Management or Business Administration skills or experience.  
• Experience in creation of AAA video games.  
• Strongly prefer experience with action-adventure and/or narrative heavy games. 
• Experience with Jira, Shotgun/ShotGrid, Perforce or other industry standard tasking and version control software.  
• Data analytics background or capability.  
• Adaptive managerial skills, knowing when to use formal or informal tactics and strategy to achieve project success.  

Qualifications:  

• Strong time managerial skills in a technically sophisticated and fast-paced work environment.  
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.  
• At least 10 years of experience as AAA Game Producer. 
• High Attention to detail, timely follow-up and strong interpersonal skills.
