Senior Manager - Production Engineering and Facilities

Your Role:
Full responsibility for Production Engineering and Facilities at the Hanford Mfg. site.
- Develop the strategic plan and KPI’s for each area of responsibility.
- People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost
- Develop training programs for all Manager and above employees.
- Clear tasks and roles
- Ensure the roles and tasks given to workers are clear and understandable
- Development of staff
- Structures of Teamwork
- Clear tasks and roles
- Recruit, hire and train the required Salary resources for areas of responsibility.
- Develop Quality and robust processes to deliver FF products.
- Implement rapid identification of problems and practical problem solving
- Stable processes / Products & Preventive quality management
- Customer orientation (in house & external)
- Create a culture and drive Continuous Improvement to continuously eliminate waste.
- Implement plans for the uptime and maintenance of the Mfg. facility.
- Interface with the Advanced Manufacturing team to buy off on vehicle process and tooling installations.
- Interface with the plant production departments to support production and the team members in building quality FF vehicles.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience working in a fast paced, low/high volume Automotive manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with Plant, Property and Equipment.
- Preventative and Predictive maintenance
- Spare parts (ordering and inventory)
- Experience in both Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, and Plant Process Engineering
- Experience in programing, managing, and monitoring torque tools using control plans to manage the process.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing with focus on production systems and processes.
- Experience in new product development and launch activities.
- Strong analytic problem-solving skills.
- Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and deadlines.
- Remain engaged, proactive and positive in tough circumstances, owning assignments and taking full accountability for their success.
- Experience in hiring and developing new team members in a maintenance environment.
- Communicate clearly using excellent written and verbal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering
- Experience in EV Startup companies.
Annual Salary Range:
($140K - $185K DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
