About You
The Senior Manager, Professional (HCP) Marketing will lead the strategy and execution of marketing plans and materials to promote Nutrafol to healthcare providers (HCPs) at up to 25 national trade shows (conferences) each year. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of marketing materials and communications to promote national awareness campaigns and Nutrafol brand campaigns to HCP and Salon Providers and their patients/clients; supporting both sell-in and sell-through sales.Â
The Senior Marketing Manager must be a strong communicator who is creative, detail-oriented and demonstrates solid project management skills. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading physician marketing campaigns and leading the creative development process (with designers and copywriters) for marketing materials.Â
As a member of the Professional Marketing team, you will report to the VP of Marketing for the Professional Channel (HCPs & Hair Salons), and will collaborate with other key stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate has professional downstream marketing (commercialization) experience working with physicians in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical aesthetics industry in the U.S. Â
Responsibilities:
- Lead Nutrafol’s physician trade show (conference) marketing strategy and the creative development of materials and communications to promote Nutrafol at up to 25 national trade shows each year - emails, social media, digital and print advertising, virtual booths, etc, working alongside cross-functional partners on creative and social media teams
- Manage the design & development of trade show booths and materials including signage, merchandising displays, literature, and digital displays
- Collaborate with third-party marketing agency partner to support the planning and promotion of key physician in-person eventsÂ
- Lead development of marketing materials and communications to promote national awareness campaigns and Nutrafol brand campaigns to HCP and Salon Providers and their patients/clients; supporting both sell-in and sell-through sales
- Lead creative development of in-office merchandising and 'swag' to promote Nutrafol to patients/clients; including identifying vendors and negotiating costs
- Writing project briefs for the creative team, providing copy and design direction, managing deadlines and ensuring product messaging and claims are accurate and consistent
- Support annual paid media awareness activities with HCP and Salon publications and associations (webinars, advertising, emails, etc.) as needed
- Manage budgeting and invoicing for marketing materials
- Support departmental leadership in annual strategic planning and budgeting
- Develop and maintain strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships with the following teams: Clinical & Medical Affairs, Creative, Professional Sales Team, Social Media, PR, Product Development, Operations
- Attend 2-5 national trade shows annually
Requirements:Â
- 5+ years downstream marketing experience with physicians and patients in the pharmaceutical, healthcare or medical aesthetics industry (incl. product launches, marketing communications, conference marketing)Â
- Proven experience developing and executing omnichannel medical marketing campaigns and leading the creative development process with copywriters and graphic designers
- Excellent written, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience managing a budget, invoicing, and negotiating contracts with vendors
- Excellent project management skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate programs, managing through ambiguity to execution
- Experience working cross-functionally with creative, medical affairs, sales, education and product development teams
- Adaptable team player comfortable in an agile environment who can evolve, pivot, and pitch in as needed
Preferred:
- Experience working with dermatologists or plastic surgeons
- Experience working with physician KOLs (key opinion leaders)Â
- Physician trade show/conference marketing experienceÂ
- Product launch experience in a downstream marketing roleÂ
- Bachelor's Degree or higher education in marketing, communications, English, or related field
- Fully remote work experience, including a one-time allowance for home office setup
