Operations:
- Oversees overall operational performance and success.
- Responsible for the accountability of the workforce in organizational operations and customer projects
- Works with customers and serves as face of the organization and a leader to public consumers
- Oversees the operations of one or multiple business segments or product groups which may include a country, region or MRO/plant.
- Has P&L or cost center responsibility within a geographic area, business segment or portfolio.
- Leads small/medium programs to support the development of program plans, schedules, and budgets for programs under their responsibility.
- Demonstrates continuous improvement including "lean as management" and "execution improvement initiative" to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Identifies and addresses program problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful completion of programs.
- Leads program work with various functional organizations to ensure alignment with the customer program objectives.
- Analyzes data and monitors program to ensure adherence to organization's progress in terms of cost, schedule, and technical specifications.
- Maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the program(s) to track progress and ensure that established targets are met.
- Identifies and addresses program problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful completion of programs.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
- 7 or more years of Program Management and/or Operations experience.
- Experience in key customer facing roles
- Aerospace industry experience
- Prior Manufacturing or Operations experience
- Understanding of manufacturing and the associated end to end process
- Prior experience as an Industrial or Manufacturing engineer is a plus
