New York City is where we call home. Covid protocols are in place if employees work on property or corporate employees choose to go to NYC office. Our HQ office is located in Midtown Manhattan neighboring Time Square attractions. THE ROLE

Mint House is looking for a Senior Manager, Property Openings and Expansions who will oversee the entire end-to-end delivery of opening new properties along with expansions at existing properties.This individual will take charge of the set direction of projects given by the Head of Expansions and Asset Management. The team will work cross-functionally across teams and leadership to translate our opening strategy into projects, priorities, and initiatives. 

It is critical to partner with every department involved in the opening operations and efforts are coordinated with Mint House’s broader growth and revenue performance objectives. This role is remote with up to ~75% travel for property launches and support in our markets. 

AT MINT HOUSE YOU WILL
  • Be responsible for general management of pre and post-opening operations and communications internally and externally to ensure a timely delivery that is in budget 
  • Own end-to-end project planning and management for all launches and expansions
  • Manage Mint House’s property partners and day to day opening process 
  • Gather, input, and report critical status updates at all phases of the openings to be distributed across teams 
  • Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure a smooth delivery 
  • Ensure all properties are up to brand standards in conjunction with our Regional Directors of Operations 
  • Project manage the portfolio and travel as business needs dictate
  • Partner with Operations to source new vendor relationships as it pertains to the markets day to day operations 
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Preferred previous experience leading multi-layered, multi-functional teams in hotel opening operations and expansion projects 
  • Someone who understands the importance of “getting into the field” in order to understand strategy and reality of the projects to lead and delegate responsibilities across teams
  • Your vibe is making it happen, whether this means joining a new build or launch, jumping into a weekly project planning meeting, helping audit a warehouse, or chatting with a property manager at the on-site 
  • Strong communication to propose clear and achievable paths forward and comfortable solving problems quickly 
  • Experience in Wrike, Airtable or other project management systems is a plus; enjoys learning new systems and technologies
