Senior Manager, Quality

The Opportunity

We seek a Quality Manager who can drive the quality processes and shape the Test Strategy within multiple domains. The Quality Manager will work closely with Engineering and Product leadership to understand what testing approach is required to ensure we deliver Quality to our customers. The Quality Manager role requires an in-depth understanding of various testing methodologies and tooling. The Quality Manager will work with Quality Leadership (Functional, Automation & Performance) to define what good looks like and ensure we have the correct approach to our testing. They will require a strategic mindset that will give them a 2–3-year view of what testing approach ESW may require.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement testing strategies, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in Amigo sessions with Senior leadership. 
• Analyse quality metrics and identify areas for improvement then communicate effectively to senior leadership.
• Ensure that Quality is at the forefront of the Art.

Key Experience & Skills

• 6-10 years’ experience in a lead Position within a similar quality organisation.
• Team leadership experience a must.
• Mentoring QA personnel, a must
• BA / BSc degree in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proven Track Record of delivering large scale Quality/Test Programmes.
• Intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and enthusiasm for tackling challenging problems.
• Understanding of Safe Framework, a plus.
• Excellent operational organisation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical skills (data-driven, research driven).
• Familiarity with agile technology development methodologies and tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively to senior leadership.
• Strategic mindset needed to understand the needs of the overall Art quality and implementation.  
• Experience communicating with clients and external stakeholders.
• Experience with an Dev Ops Environment.
• Experience working within CI/CD.
• Experience with Automation Frameworks.
• Experience with Performance Testing a plus.
