Senior Manager, Quality Engineering

Moneris is seeking a Senior Manager Quality Engineering to lead our Quality Engineering team and drive a quality first mind set across the organization. Quality is Moneris’ number one priority, so this role will have considerable impact and reach across the technology team.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to VP, Software Development & Architecture

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

• Establish and execute the goals and strategy for the QE team

• Manage a team of managers to achieve department goals

• Audit and enforce the compliance to those standards

• Independent investigation and tracking of remediation when those standards fail (RCA)

• Centrally run and manage specialized testing tools & enable team adoption

• Centrally own quality reporting & KPIs

• Partner with change management to ensure release velocity increases while increasing quality and maintaining change record logs

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

• Proven team management experience

• Extensive test automation experience with current tools across all levels of testing

• Excellent knowledge of Git, GitHub, and current branching strategies

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and pipelines

• Proven experience writing and auditing compliance to quality standards

• Proven experience running root cause analysis and remediation

• Experience working in a high security, high reliability, high quality, high compliance environment

• Progressive quality engineering mindset
