Purpose
We are seeking an innovative and dynamic Senior Manager, Quality Systems to upgrade our quality management system and processes. In this high-impact role, you will be the driving force behind ensuring our operations meet and exceed regulatory and industry standards. You will spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge quality processes and systems, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. The Role
•Develop, implement, and relentlessly improve our comprehensive and forward-thinking quality processes with a focus on exceeding customer and industry standards such as AS9100, ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001, and Nadcap requirements.
•Pioneer innovative and automated approaches to quality management, setting new industry benchmarks and leading the evolution of quality practices in an advanced manufacturing environment.
•Accountable for ensuring effective internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and prepare for and facilitate all AS9100, ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001, and Nadcap audits.
•Configure, implement, and administer a revamped document control system to not only ensure all documents are created, maintained, and used consistently across the organization, but also ensure compliance, collaboration, traceability, and accountability.
•Develop and implement strategies to improve the calibration system, ensuring all measuring and test equipment is calibrated accurately and timely, and maintaining calibration records in compliance with industry standards.
•Drive continual improvement initiatives internally and with suppliers, focusing on process optimization, automation, and the resolution of product non-conformances.
•Develop and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the quality system, driving action plans and initiatives based on KPI results to continually improve quality performance.
•Maintain and report on the status of the quality system, including customer scorecards, quality rejections, cost of poor quality, audit programs, calibration, and external quality performance.
•Work closely with all functional groups to ensure quality roles and responsibilities are clearly defined, documented, and understood.
•Identify, evaluate, and pursue new industry recognized accreditations and certifications that align with business needs and strategic goals, ensuring the organization remains competitive and compliant with evolving industry standards.
•Participate in the product development process to ensure customer quality deliverables are seamlessly captured and met from quotation to product realization.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of systemic corrective and preventive actions.
•Continuously evaluate and promote evolution of the quality systems and processes to stay ahead of industry advancements and technological innovations.
Basic Qualifications
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field; Significant relevant quality management experience will also be considered.
•Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
•Proven Expertise: Extensive experience in leading and implementing quality management systems in accordance with AS9100, ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001, and Nadcap standards.
•Audit Management: Strong expertise in managing internal and external audits, including AS9100, ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001, and Nadcap audits.
•Advanced Quality Planning: Deep knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and root cause analysis methodologies (such as fishbone, 3 legged 5-whys, 8D, A3).
•Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage change effectively, and implement automation in a fast-paced environment.
•Statistical Analysis: Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and quality improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma and DMAIC.
•Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
•Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with all company functional groups, suppliers, and customers.
•Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using various quality management software and MS Office, particularly in creating reports, graphs, and effective presentations.
•Certifications: Certification in Six Sigma or similar quality improvement methodologies.

Work Environment
Work occurs in both an office setting and across the manufacturing environment. As such, it potentially includes hot and/or humid conditions while wearing required PPE.
Physical Demands
•Ability to lift 40 lbs. and exert force to move equipment around the facility
•Work in potentially humid/hot conditions
•Ability to wear all required PPE for assigned tasks/training
