Senior Manager, Release Management
Job Description
We're looking for a Release Manager to join our R&D Operation team at ServiceTitan, to own the Release management lifecycle across our portfolio.

As a seasoned Release Manager, you will be responsible for scheduling, planning, guiding, and optimizing releases across the ServiceTitan Portfolio. This will require timely communications, strong planning, cross team collaborations, documentation, and great experience for our customers. The Release Manager role will partner closely across all engineering, product, infrastructure and customer facing teams to get releases out successfully. Candidates should enjoy working openly and collaboratively with a diverse team and possess an ability to encourage and drive best practices. The ideal candidate has excellent program and process management skills, along with strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the product delivery organization.
The Release Manager will assist in managing projects and interdependencies to ensure milestone adherence to ensure the integrity of the release can be measured.
This position has the opportunity to be remote based in the United States. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.
What You'll Do:
- Plan and own the release schedule and cycles across the portfolio.
- Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
- Monitor and track key metrics for each service, and publish executive reports
- Partner closely across engineering, product, infrastructure and customer facing teams to ensure successful, on time releases.
- Manage and mitigate risks and resolve issues regarding release quality and schedule.
- Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
- Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews, as well provide regular reporting
- Maintain a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
- Recognize opportunities to improve release quality and engage with developers and cross-functional teams to implement improvements
What You'll Bring:
- BA degree and 8+ years of prior relevant Release management experience preferably at enterprise companies
- Proven track record of managing cloud application(s) with high availability and high scalability
- Strong Project/Program Management skills and experience
- Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle, including strong experience in Agile methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
- Experience building engineering processes and working alongside senior stakeholders to ensure needs and requirements are incorporated
- Strong technical skills with thorough knowledge of feature toggles, branch handling, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Experience with Agile process of development of distributed services, with a focus on faster and reliable delivery
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
