Your impact:
As Senior Manager, Revenue Assurance & Billing Operations you will manage the teams responsible for all sales order contract "booking" data entry into Intelsat financial systems & the monthly billing cycles. You will have the opportunity to initiate and maintain all billing schedules in the Oracle Fusion Subscription Module and all billing transactions in the Oracle Accounts Receivable Module. Your role will establish processes and procedures to ensure all bookings & billings are accounted for properly, with responsibility for developing automated workflow procedures and enhancements.
As a qualified individual with a diverse background, experience, values, and strong work ethic, you will also manage monthly booking & billing close cycle and provide guidance on certain order entry & billing activities the group will be responsible for completing. You'll be responsible for implementing and testing new products additions to Oracle Inventory through the booking and billing systems. This role supports and manages the backlog reporting while ensuring accuracy. You'll demonstrate strategic vision for the Revenue Assurance & Billing teams' roles & responsibilities and develop processes and procedures in line with relevant internal controls and SOX requirements. You'll need experience with Oracle Financials, especially with Oracle ERP. You'll assume the responsibility to support the Revenue Accounting team regarding any OSS enhancements as required for the Revenue Module Contracting System "RMCS".
What you will do

  • Ensure all financial data is verified and validated.
  • Coordinate quarterly reviews with KMPG and internal audit.
  • Establish workflow processes and procedures for all system integrating into Oracle Fusion Subscription Management & Oracle Accounts Receivable Module.
  • Ensure all products are set-up in Oracle Inventory and updated with the correct General Ledger ID's in coordination with Revenue Accounting.
  • Facilitate product booking & billing standards / refinement efforts.
  • Ensure the booking processes meet audit and SOX standards for all PBC's and Due Diligence deliverables.
  • Provide internal reporting for management metrics.
  • Provide business requirements to IT as relates to Oracle Fusion Subscription Module, Oracle Accounts Receivable Module, and Schedule All.
  • Lead projects related to legal entity consolidation and standardized booking elements.
  • Manage the company's use of the Oracle Fusion Subscription Module and Oracle Accounts Receivable Module.
  • Assist with special projects for department & Senior Management as requested.
  • Develop processes and controls for Oracle Fusion Subscription Module and Oracle Accounts Receivable Module.


Your required experience/skills

  • You must have a Bachelors' degree in Accounting
  • A minimum of 12 years of recent, relevant experience with revenue assurance oversight
  • Must have excellent people management and leadership skills; previous management experience required
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills
  • Must have significant experience with accounting systems, preferably Oracle, and must have substantial experience in Contract Management, including backlog and net new orders
  • Experience with the contract management process required
  • Must have effective written and oral English language skills
  • Oracle ERP experience and at least 5 years of financial system management experience
  • Must be able to drive integration requests
