About the Role

Enablement at Envoy is responsible for equipping customer-facing teams with the knowledge, tools and process to succeed. 

As the sales and success team scales, we’re growing our enablement team to keep up! You will work in close collaboration with the Product Marketing, Product, Engineering and Sales & Success Ops to empower Customer Facing teams with the skills, knowledge, processes, and tools required to succeed in their role. You will also drive consistency in delivery and measuring outcomes. Your goal is to improve GTM productivity by increasing effectiveness and efficiency.

This is not a remote position. The ideal candidate will need to be onsite & able to participate in hybrid work.You Will

Leadership + Team Growth 

  • Develop, mentor and coach the Enablement team while building structure and future planning as customer facing teams grow 
  • Lead and drive high quality training program management to ensure new Sales and Success reps acquire all necessary sales skills and reduce ramp time
  • You will lead and drive: 
    • Quarterly Goal Planning and determine tradeoffs between priorities
    • Headcount planning and tool budgeting
    • Mentoring and developing Enablement team members 
    • Building Enablement IC 30-60-90 plans 

Relationship Building

  • Develop partnerships with cross functional partners to streamline sales & success deal progression and increase multi product deals won
  • Giving the charter, defining success, direction - delegating with clear instruction and mentorship to direct reports 
  • Lead by recommendations and persuasive power with senior sales leadership to define optimal performance measurements 

Coaching and Program Management

  • Conduct rigorous and ongoing interviews with individuals to determine skill and learning gaps
  • Work with Sales and Success Operations to understand performance metrics and identify how to uplift each metric (leading and lagging indicators)
  • Continuously AE and BDR coaching program to constantly develop and uplevel rep sales skills 
  • Build CSM, Renewal Rep and Solution Engineers, and Support onboarding and training program
  • Build an internal product training onboarding & continued development program for Sales & Success to become experts on Envoy’s platform
  • Implement a sales methodology (i.e. MEDDIC, Sandler, Challenger) to standardized sales & success process  
  • Develop programmatic approaches to the following: 
    • Internal product training for new hire onboarding 
    • Continuous product development programs for value selling 
    • AE & BDR Coaching Programs for skill development 
    • Knowledge checks, refreshers, and re certification across product, process and sales skills 
You Have  
  • 2+ years of experience managing direct reports in Enablement or learning and development teams for Sales and Success teams
  • 5+ years of enablement or experience onboarding, building content/ processes and training teams
  • Experience in leading and coaching a team to produce high quality training programs 
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize work effectively. An aptitude for problem-solving and demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate cross-functionally with others
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse audiences in different ways (email, meetings, presentations, etc.)

  • Experience in SaaS 
  • Experience in a selling role
