Senior Manager, Revenue Operations
Job Description
We create simple-to-use, visual-first communication and accountability tools for contractors. Imagine a B2B SaaS (business-to-business software-as-a-service) app that doesnât look like garbage, built by a team of capable, laid-back people.
But donât let the chill throw you off; weâre a fast-growing, product-led startup with big plans for the future.
Senior Manager, Revenue Operations is focused on unlocking efficiency and increasing productivity through the creation, and continual improvement of, a defined best practice for how all client-facing roles execute activities within all phases of the revenue cycle. This is done through four pillars of focus:
- Defining what the best practice is where none exists
- Driving the adoption of these best practices
- Assessing the results, gathering feedback, and finding ways to improve
- Taking a change initiative to the field to embed into the defined set of best practices
The role will focus on sales and marketing operational efficiency initiatives, lead support management, change management projects, and activities tied to yearly planning. Â
In this job you will...- Lead the way in developing a team of supportive Ops professionals that just âget it doneâ no matter the task and help us drive a scalable business.
- Confidently articulate your Operations strategy and solutions to stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
- Serve as the go-to person for Sales, Support, Customer Success and Marketing for all things tied to how our go-to-market strategy is executed.
- Make decisions on how to take our Revenue Operations tech stack to the next level by choosing the correct tooling and resources.Â
- Advise our leaders over time, as you come to learn more about our business and use your skills to develop plans
- Ensure your team executes all work at a consistently high level and meets all deadlines while promoting an environment of fun, learning, and opportunity for those you manage.Â
- Own the technical stack that powers S3 & Marketing by knowing the ins and outs of how each product works separately and together.
- Understand that technical and business constraints factor into many decisions - you know when to strive for perfection and when itâs time to be pragmatic.
- Listen to your colleagues and stakeholders, taking time to learn about their world and our customerâs world before making plans to serve them.
- Work directly with front-line sales and customer success, both individual contributors and leadership, as well as with stakeholders from other departments, always keeping an eye for ways to improve the productivity and efficiency of the team so that the ambitious growth goals are met.
- As a partner to our revenue leaders, youâll become close to CoCamâs challenges and create the path forward for them to grow the business painlessly.
- Have experience in Revenue or Sales Operations, with SaaS experience preferred but not essential.
- Be comfortable working in a fast paced, high growth environment and able to help facilitate change.
- Have the ability and desire to process and solve complex problems while balancing many cross-functional stakeholders
- Show clear demonstration of hitting and exceeding project plans.
- Be comfortable with ambiguity; you have a big-picture view and can align teams to get there
- Show up every day, taking the courage to do the difficult but necessary stuff.
- Grow up constantly: you're OK working in an environment full of change. You take responsibility, love ownership, learn continuously, and have a growth mindset.
- Do good by treating your co-workers and customers the way you would like to be treated.
- Be technically savvy and hungry to learn the ins and outs of our platform quickly.
- Reside permanently and currently in the United States. Sorry, we're not hiring outside the US at this time even if you're willing to work during US time zones.
- 5+ years experience leading Revenue and/or Sales Operations functions.
- Have a deep knowledge of tools in CompanyCamâs tech stack and Salesforce Administrator certification highly preferred.
- Show experience with project management and department roadmapping.
