About The Role
As part of the Cross-product bankingorganization, you will join a team of skilled risk managers who are responsible for the thought leadership, creation, delivery, and management of Credit risk, fraud risk and controls that support new product launches and product enhancements. In this role, you will focus primarily on managing initiatives that cuts across banking products but not limited to Business / Consumer Checking, Savings & Kabbage portfolio. This role focuses on resolution of complex problems. Conducts analyses, recommends changes to policies, and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic analyses to inform business decisions and provide actionable recommendations. Write and present fact-based presentations to key stakeholders
- Collect & analyze information from multiple sources to gain knowledge about the competitive environment to improve organizational performance
- Conduct adhoc data analysis as needed and share insights with leadership, partners, and stakeholders in a simple, clear, and compelling way
- Act as the conduit of information between workstreams, product groups and CFR leadership
- Maintain a pulse on workstream progress, needs, and roadblocks
- Understand key digital banking product constructs, the associated data (digital & traditional), the relevant risk vectors, and the strengths & limitations of existing capabilities and controls
- Partner closely with business product teams, Fraud strategy teams, servicing teams, capability owners, and technologies
- Develop, enhance, and monitor capabilities and controls that support industry leading fraud rates as well as best in class customer experience for new product launches and product enhancements
- Facilitate meetings, coordinate change management activities, prepare documentation, and ensure project deliverables are met
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience with leveraging analytics to drive business results is preferred
- Strong communicator who is clear, concise, and comfortable leading conversations at all levels of the organization, including with senior leaders
- Innovator - Ability to tailor the program in its early stages as well as to evolve it, to meet changing needs over time
- Pro-active collaborator with ability to build trust through transparency of information and delivering on commitments
- Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously on multiple projects simultaneously
- Previous experience leading and performing analysis using SQL, Python or similar
- Demonstrated ability to frame business problems into analytical problem, leverage external thinking and tools to deliver business insights
- Enterprise thinker who takes a pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Passionate about creating and delivering world-class customer experiences
- Strong understanding of the banking and digital payments ecosystem
- Ability to influence and drive alignments across multiple business stakeholders, without direct authority
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced area of the business
- Demonstrated thought leadership abilities and will to win
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently with complex, unstructured initiatives
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Undergraduate Degree in a relevant field (such as: Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Operations Research, Engineering)
- Expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint with ability to pull a story line together in a presentation
