About the Role
As the Senior Manager of Sales Development, you will lead the inbound and outbound SDR teams, oversee their activities, and drive the company's sales development strategies. You will be an integral part of the marketing leadership team and continuously mentor our SDRs. You will also work closely with other leaders in sales, marketing, sales operations, marketing operations, and sales enablement to drive the strategy for the sales development team.

- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to maximize the performance of the inbound and outbound SDR teams. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline and revenue target.
- You love teaching your team how to think differently and motivating them to continuously evolve in their sales career.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the SDR team, ensuring their continuous growth and development; develop and identify training opportunities for SDR teams.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the SDR teams to promote a results-driven and motivated work environment.
- You recognize the importance of a quantitative approach to making decisions.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for business growth.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the SDR teams.
- Prepare regular reports to communicate the performance and progress.
- Monitor and refine processes, metrics, and tools to maximize the success of the SDR teams.
- Report on pipeline-building metrics and forecast.Â
- Collaborate with marketing and revenue operations teams to optimize lead generation and qualification processes.
- Provide insightful feedback from prospect conversations to product, sales, and marketing leadership.

Who you are and what you bring
- 6+ years of experience in Sales Development Representative roles within the digital marketing or technology industry
- 3+ years of experience successfully managing and leading inbound and outbound SDR teams (this position will manage 10 SDRs)
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, focusing on lead generation and qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Understanding the challenges our prospects face daily
- History of over-performance against quotas
- Proven past success as an SDR (individual contributor)
- Technology Experience: Salesforce, ChiliPiper, CallRail, and Drift or similar technology
- Experience in-home services or legal services

Compensation
- We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
- The base salary is $100,000 (entry-level) - 120,000 (highly experienced). This position's base salary + annual variable is $135,000 (entry-level) - $155,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary + annual variable range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
