Lightspeed is looking for a Senior Manager, Sales Development to join our growing North American NuOrder team. You will be responsible for driving our local team to generate and qualify leads for the sales department. In this role, you will be the go-to person for the team. You will help them to exceed their objectives through continuous training and coaching.
What youâll be doing:
- Hire, train and manage high-performing team of SDRs
- Develop, motivate and mentor the team using a âResults-Driven" approach.
- Own and drive execution of new business pipeline goals by understanding and analyzing top of the funnel metrics, pipeline quality, and revenue influenced across all regional segments.
- Meet pipeline goals, optimize business processes for efficiency, accelerate ramp to productivity, and ensure the SDR team has a deep understanding of NuORDER
- Analyzing, reporting and taking action on pipeline metrics and teamâs KPIs
- Developing outbound initiatives to maximize the team performance
- Working with the marketing and sales team on developing new strategies to grow our sales pipeline based on conversations and input you will be having in the market
- Driving performance to consistently meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals
What youâll be bringing:
- Relevant sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in a solution-sales / technology-related environment
- Strong understanding of sales development best practices
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills, including strong listening, verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets
- 2+ years of experience coaching / leading a team
- A love of numbers and reporting: you recognize a quantitative approach to making decisions
- A love of coaching: You enjoy helping your team members evolve in their sales career
- Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic and quota-driven environment
- Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
- Proficiency in EnglishÂ
- An entrepreneurial and agile mindset, a bias toward action and an ability to pivot when needed to meet business needs and objectives
- Experience with Retail point-of-sale systems is an asset
- Experience in technology (software, mobile or other) is an asset
- Experience working with tools such as salesforce; Gong, and Outreach to manage sales processes, marketing campaigns, opportunity trends and set standards for performance metrics.

Whatâs in it for you?
At Lightspeed, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your skillset, qualifications, experience, and market data. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We reasonably expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $110,000 to $150,000 USD plus Bonus, depending on the candidateâs location. Additionally, this role may be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. Lightspeed also provides a variety of employee benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, wellness, life and disability insurance, 401K plan and match, paid parental leave top-up, and paid time off.Â
Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within the United States, and refers to the amount Lightspeed is willing to pay at the time of this posting, which may vary depending on the candidateâs actual location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
