Provides thought leadership and analytics for the Sales Strategy, Support & Enablement team. Coordinates cross functional efforts to leverage sophisticated tools, analytical techniques, process understanding and other capabilities to structure, measure, support and improve the effectiveness of Cox Business family of sales and its team members. Analyzes and/or recommends strategic priorities, sales force performance metrics and sales effectiveness tracking methods to maintain and improve the company's competitive advantage in the market. The Sr. Manager of Sales Strategy and Enablement works directly with senior-level leadership to ensure understanding of the full range of sales-related analytical data and performance metrics. Ensure data-driven insights underpin current and forward-looking sales strategy development and associated decision-making. Develop actionable resource deployment and revenue management goals and objectives to grow market share and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and deliver performance management standards, scorecards and communication across organization. This will include assessment and evolution of performance measures by role and market across the CB Sales organization. Evaluation will include quality and reliability of current measures and impact to the organization as well as recommendations on new key performance indicators.
  • Engages with sales team leaders and mangers to create comprehensive and data-driven dashboard and reporting requirements. Communicates findings to senior leadership and across stakeholder groups and organizations
  • Establishes close working relationship and alignment with critical field stakeholders in Sales, Sales Support, Fulfillment, and market leadership functions.
  • Ensure models and benchmarks are transparent and easy to understand, instilling confidence and credibility in tools for the end users.
  • Partners with stakeholders on strategic business planning and initiatives, pilot testing, implementing best practices and optimizing workflow to enhance performance and drive effective resource management to meet or exceed customer and business expectations.
  • Partners with sales leadership to maximize revenue, drive outstanding customer experience and achieve product delivery efficiency.
  • Works with internal business partners to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Promotes positive work environment. Demonstrates enterprise wide thinking by collaborating across regions on special projects and develops, builds and manages relationships with Center and regional peers.
  • May participate in the development of annual operating budgets and re-forecasts as necessary.

Qualifications
Minimum
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field (i.e. Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, etc).
    • The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field
  • Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Access, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization

Preferred
  • BS/BA degree strongly desired.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role or leading cross functional projects preferred.
  • Experience in telecommunications industry desired.

USD 105,700.00 - 176,100.00 per year
