What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager fills a critical management and leadership role by assisting the Head of Business Initiatives and Service, in the development and management of the Field and Client Support Services department (FCSS). Responsible for the execution of cross-platform tactical and strategic initiatives and service strategy. The Senior Manager exists to drive service excellence for field partners and USWM clients, and to ensure evolving business needs are met. Manage a team of Field and Concierge Service Managers responsible for oversight of the resources performing support to our Private Client Group and Custody & Clearing business field and clients and for managing and executing strategic initiatives and US Wealth Management (USWM) service strategy.

What will you do?

  • Effectively ties strategy to delivery of service initiatives that will meet the business needs
  • Achieves appropriate service levels and scalability of the team
  • Ensure that employees understand RBC vision, as well as support and reinforce targeted behaviors that contribute to RBC USWM goals.
  • Provide focus and clarity in establishing individual goals, driving performance management, supporting career development and rewarding strong performance.
  • Leverage the value in unit, department, and enterprise wide teams to develop better service standards and achieve a cross platform mindset.
  • Liaise and provide support to direct reports on a daily basis
  • Constantly provide feedback to reports to continue to strive for greater excellence

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • BA / BS in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven excellent customer service skills
  • 5+ years in progressive business experience / securities and financial markets experience
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of wealth management platform, products, technologies and appropriate solutions
  • Series 7 or equivalent licensing
