Senior Manager, Social Media

SonicWall is seeking a talented and highly motivated Social Media, Senior Manager to join our team. As a Social Media Senior Manager in the cybersecurity/networking industry, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our digital presence, engage our target audience and promote not only just our solutions but our partners and customers who love us! You will play a critical role in raising awareness, building trust, and driving leads through various social media channels.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy

Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

Identify target audiences and tailor content and campaigns to effectively engage them.

Content Creation and Management:

Create high-quality, engaging, and informative content (text, images, videos, infographics) that educates and informs the audience about cybersecurity trends, threats, and solutions.

Maintain a content calendar and ensure consistent posting on social media platforms.

Platform Management:

Manage and optimize social media profiles on platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and others relevant to the cybersecurity industry.

Stay up-to-date with platform updates, trends, and best practices to maximize reach and engagement.

Campaign Planning, Advertising and Execution:

Plan and execute social media campaigns (paid/organic) to promote webinars, threat reports, partner testimonials, product launches, and other cybersecurity initiatives.

Monitor and analyze campaign performance/ROI, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

Crisis Management:

Prepare and implement crisis management strategies for social media in partnership with public relations to address cybersecurity incidents or negative feedback.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related discipline required

8+ years of social media experience and demand gen marketing with a proven track record

Strong understanding of end-customers and how to work with partners/channel.

Excellent written and editorial skills

Amazing analytical skills

Expert in popular social media platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Radian 6, Social Studio, Hootsuite, etc.)

Teamwork-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing and evolving

Open to feedback and collaboration from management and others throughout the organization

Innovative with willingness to offer new ideas
