Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Essential Job Functions:

· Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and career development opportunities to team members while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team.

· Facilitate career growth and development of direct reports by providing career guidance and opportunities for growth.

· Develop project schedules, monitor project progress, and ensure alignment with management.

· Stay up-to-date on new programming methods and software technologies.

· Deploy content across all supported platforms.

· Create and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications and on-boarding materials.

· Lead the development of new and innovative game play features and interfaces.

· Create, enforce, and adapt engineering standards and best practices for development.

· Write coherent, organized code and work on a complicated code-base with high levels of abstraction.

· Collaborate with project leadership on roadmap, priorities, and goals.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of software development experience

• 3+ years of software engineering management experience.

• Unity Engine development experience, 2018+ preferred.

• Knowledge of C#- .NET Core, Unity, and SOLID & Domain-Driven design principles.

• Basic database operations and SQL understanding.

• Strong understanding of GIT version control software.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with scaling and casual games development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Live Game operations and

• Support and AWS Deployment & Monitoring.

Education:

· Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or a relevant area, or equivalent experience.
