What you will do-
The Senior Manager, Sourcing (Extremities) is responsible for leading and guiding the Extremities sourcing team falling under the role's remit. The Senior Manager, Sourcing will be responsible for guiding the team of managers and analysts in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies to optimize the supply chain through partnering with best-in-class suppliers that exceed Stryker's requirements in terms of quality, service and cost. Partners with GQO Functional and Commercial leaders to ensure alignment of goals, strategies, and initiatives.
- Develop and implement the Sourcing strategy for the Divisions in scope including:
- Supplier and market analysis
- Cost modelling
- Supplier negotiations
- Contract management
- Supplier performance management
- Make vs Buy
- Coordinate and partner at "C suite" level at our suppliers and internal customers to deliver best practices and communications
- Support supplier audit and CAPA/NC responsibilities with Group Quality and Purchasing Control leaders
- Support Division purchasing leads for systemic supplier performance issues
- Partner with X-functionals teams and all other relevant cross-functional teams to evolve the company wide manufacturing and supplier base within Divisional remit for sustainable growth and results
- Continuously improve compliance and performance of supplier base
- Support companywide initiatives to develop and implement systems to ensure our suppliers follow ethical and environmentally sustainable practices
- Conduct periodic supplier site visits to maintain business understanding and monitor changes
What you need-
- Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or equivalent) -required
- Master's Degree or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) -highly preferred
- 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations and/or Quality functions -required
- Experience in medical device or other regulated industry -highly preferred
- Experience developing, negotiating, and implementing commercial contracts to include supply and quality agreements -highly preferred
$122,800.00 - $271,400.00 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
