Position Summary

The Sr. Strategic Programs Manager is the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. This individual is responsible for enhancing and growing the program through strategic initiatives. This is while maintaining a key focus on the financial health of the program. This individual will also have direct reports that they will be responsible for their individual growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and train team members who are responsible for executing the terms of the contract in relation to strategic programs. Handle customer escalations in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor Team KPIs, develop dashboards, and engage with IT and Data Analytics to maintain program integrity. Work with team members to develop a training program for team members and partners regarding new technology and program growth.
• Be the key contact with the sales/deal development team to strategically grow the business through additional customer on-boardings.
• Mentor team members and/or lead in partnerships with Distribution Operations, National Buying Center and the Sales Team to create business rules for strategic initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Create and present status updates on the program and initiatives to senior leaders. This is to highlight the positive trends along with shortfalls and their corrective action plan(s).
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

4-year degree in business, finance, marketing, supply chain, or related field or equivalent experience. Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.

Critical Skills

• Masters degree preferred.
• Six Sigma experience a plus.
• 5+ years' experience in areas such as supply chain, product management, purchasing, marketing/sales, and or finance, inclusive of 2+ years' experience in supply chain and 2+ years people management.
• Extract large amounts of transactional data from McKesson systems (Business Objects, SAP, SCORE, BW Hana (SQL), Snowflake.)
• Organize and Analyze data into meaningful and easily disseminated reporting via PC based tools (PowerBI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Prepare reports and recommendations which can be used to make timely and accurate decisions about service level and inventory issues.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$109,400 - $182,300
