Senior Manager, Strategic Relations
Job Description
Workrise is hiring a Sr Manager, Strategic Relations that will be responsible for supporting the Strategy team’s analysis of business unit needs, market trends, and key initiatives throughout the company to drive our long-term vision. Our ideal candidate for this role will be someone who can connect the dots between investor feedback, capital market trends and Workrise’s current performance to help predict the future needs of our business. This role will be non-exempt and will report to the Head of Strategy and Planning. Why Join us? Responsibilities:
- Build recurring cadences to manage relations with investors. Handle additional ad hoc inbound communication with investors and analyst.
- Drive proactive assessments of market trends, competitors, and business trends and provide impactful insights.
- Partner with Workrise's CEO, CFO, and Leadership team to manage the preparation and execution of quarterly earnings calls and board presentations.
- Collaborate with the broader finance team as you analyze financial results and compile key performance statistics and other relevant information for strategic use.
- Maintain relationships across potential investors, partnerships, or acquisition targets.
What you should have:
- 8-10 years work experience in a high-impact, fast-paced environment (ideal background in consulting / banking / PE / corporate strategy or similar roles)
- Proven experience across Strategic Finance, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Business Operations, or Private Equity/Venture Capital
- Experience in creating a recommendation narrative, and building and conveying insights through powerpoint storyboards
- Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation methods, and critical metrics used in the B2B Platforms; solid understanding of GAAP principles
- Strong business and financial acumen developed through prior interactions with management/executives.
