We are looking to hire a Senior Manager, Strategy. He/she will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing key strategic initiatives that support the "New Growth engines" of CJ Logistics America. This individual will work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to drive innovation and growth for CJ Logistics America. We are looking for a creative self-starter who is eager to work cross-functionally while navigating ambiguity through a fast-changing environment.

We evaluate and build new businesses, and lead key initiatives that drive CJ Logistics America's long-term growth and enable cross-functional organizations to achieve their goals. The strategy team leads key strategic initiatives for future growth (organic & in-organic), and go-to-market strategy and develops strategic partnerships to support CJ Logistics America's success.

Ultimately, we are a team of curious, humble, and analytically-minded individuals with a bias toward action and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate business opportunities: The Sr. Manager, Strategy will identify and evaluate new business opportunities to drive top-line and bottom-line growth for CJ Logistics America. This will involve conducting market research, analyzing competitive dynamics, and identifying growth and business transformation opportunities.
• Strategy execution: This individual will design and execute key strategic initiatives. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional leaders, external partners, and senior leadership to make alignments and ensure successful implementation.
• Monitor and analyze performance: Responsible for monitoring and analyzing the performance of key initiatives and support when needed.
• Strategic partnerships: Identify strategic partners and work closely with them to ensure the success of key initiatives (e.g. real-estate developers, consulting firms, investors, and due diligence partners).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in strategy planning & execution. Related experience in 3PL, logistics, supply chain management, cold storage, eCommerce, or Energy & battery preferred.
• Experience in real estate development and construction management preferred.
• Proven track record of strategy development and execution.
• Possess strong quantitative, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
