Summary:
Our Information Services (IS) team is seeking a Senior Manager of Supply Chain Planning Solutions who will be responsible for leading business transformation initiatives, projects, as well managing the multi-year product strategy and roadmap for Hershey's Supply Chain Planning capabilities.
This will include being a workstream leader in a multi-year program to transform The Hershey Company's end-to-end Supply Chain and Commercial planning capabilities. This role is key in implementing new systems and processes that will enable planning capabilities of the future.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning/Engagement -

• Develop and deliver against a multi-year strategy for Supply Chain Planning
• Evolve and own pipeline of ROI-based product use cases
• Assist in the development of the strategic technology roadmap, justification and prioritization of technology initiatives, and identification of innovation opportunities.
• Document system architecture plans and describe how the architecture aligns with business strategy.
• Represent business requirements and priorities to IS while also representing the IS platform and programs to the business.
• Research and evaluate best practices and emerging technology, industry, and market trends to drive optimization of delivered solutions.
• Engage in product, technology, and vendor evaluations and benchmarking activities.
• Participate actively in industry user groups.

Deliver Supply Chain Planning Solutions as the IS subject matter expert -

• Workstream lead for a multi-year Integrated Dynamic Planning program
• Lead remediation activities for Supply Chain planning systems into our SAP S/4HANA system
• Coordinate team efforts (internal & external), communications to senior leadership, and setting clear prioritization and objectives.
• Provide support for the end-to-end Supply Chain planning and VMI solutions.
• Understand requirements and implement system solutions to enable and support complex business processes.
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with business strategists, process owners, subject matter experts, and enabling teams.
• Analyze business needs, define detailed requirements, and validate potential solutions with the business, following IS standards and methodologies.
• solutions, define deliverables, and conduct structured design reviews with technical development teams to ensure consistent, well-integrated solutions.
• Ensure business objectives and conditions of satisfaction (metrics) are met.
• Coordinate with IS teams to prioritize and implement changes and strategies.
• Coordinate with architecture and technical teams to manage application lifecycle.

Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders -

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal & external stakeholders
• Work with business leaders to define options, risks, costs, benefits, and impacts on products, processes, and strategy.
• Collaborate with business strategists, process owners, and subject matter experts to audit and map business processes.
• Engage with external partners to leverage their expertise and resources to maintain and advance systems and technologies.
• Contribute to the development of technical or business process expertise across the organization by sharing information with teammates and business partners.
• Represent business requirements and priorities within Information Services.
• Advise on options, risks, costs versus benefits and impacts on business processes, and systems.

Identify opportunities to enhance processes and systems -

• Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends and best practices to drive Demand Planning Solutions optimization.
• Conduct product, technology, and vendor evaluations.
• Engage in benchmarking activities and actively participate in industry user groups.
• Work closely with Enterprise Data, ERP, and Architecture teams to establish reusable patterns and architectures that support an interconnected and evolving data landscape.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education:

• Bachelor's Degree with STEM focus (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems) or Supply Chain

Required Experience:

• 7+ years of experience with a combination of IS development/operations, business engagement, analytics, or other IS jobs leveraging systems tools to support business process optimization of Supply Chain Planning development within the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) or related industry.
• 7+ years of technical and functional experience in Supply Chain planning processes that support the creation of optimal planned production order, optimized inventory, and distribution replenishment plans.
• Experience with implementing and managing integrated planning platforms (e.g. Kinaxis, o9, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP)
• Demonstrated experience in effective interactions with senior leadership in a Fortune 500 company
• Demonstrated experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
• Demonstrated experience with Cloud technologies (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, etc.)
• Consistent ability to build relationships and leverage partners and advisors
• Comfortable with current Microsoft Office Suite (O365), flowcharting tools, and sharing through Teams (or equivalent).
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and application lifecycle management.
• Working knowledge of the functionality native to Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Vendor Managed systems.
• Functional understanding of standard interfaces built upon API, XML transactions.

Preferred:

• Experience with an advanced forecasting system such as SAS DDPO or Viya
• Experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse is strongly preferred.
• Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
• Hands on experience in the implementation of a Supply Chain Planning system.
• Familiarity with contemporary data platforms, architecture, integration & analytics platforms, and approaches (e.g. Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Informatica, SAP Business Technology Platform)
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4 is preferred.
• APICS CSCP and/or CPIM certification is preferred.
• Working knowledge of a tier one Demand Planning solution (e.g. SAP APO DP and SAP SNC for Vendor Managed Inventory) is a plus.
• International business experience
