Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Develop, maintain, and scale the global supply chain strategy to achieve key strategic initiatives and associated performance indicators. Responsible to manage the flow of goods and information to support the supply chain strategy. Collaborate closely with teams, including supply chain peers, operations, finance, commercial segments, and IT to ensure efficient and effective planning and execution within the organization. Responsible for global execution of projects, ensuring consistency and timeliness. Inspect and assess process health.

Key Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop strategies to facilitate smooth adoption of new processes and technologies. Collaborate to develop communication plans, training materials, and collaborator engagement strategies to drive successful change initiatives.
  • Project Governance and Reporting: Establish project governance frameworks, including project charters, governance boards, and reporting mechanisms. Provide regular project updates, performance metrics, and status reports to key collaborators and senior management. Maintain project documentation and accessible for future reference.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize the supply chain, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs. Identify process bottlenecks. Use standard methodologies. Leverage technology solutions.
  • Establish and maintain a strong data governance playbook with proper documentation, training, and controls.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to project achievements. Coordinate project resources, lead risks, and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives. Champion effective communication and lead collaborator expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with supply chain peer teams to support strategic projects in forecasting, demand, supply and distribution planning and optimization, inventory management and demand fulfillment optimization that aligns to the supply chain key strategic initiatives and performance measures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Find opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization processes. Collaborate to implement standard methodologies, drive efficiency gains, and enhance performance.
  • Use predictive modeling and analytics to make better decisions and optimize performance.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise direct and indirect employees.
  • Interview and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance, reward, and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Work with Human Resources on employee issues.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

POSITION QUALIFICATION

  • Strong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain optimization concepts and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with technology solutions and related tools such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) software, or Demand Planning and Forecasting applications.
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, risk management, and collaborator management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and social skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and collaborators at all levels.
  • Organizational change expertise, with the ability to drive organizational change and lead resistance to change.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with business processes, industry standard methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong ability to communicate supply chain management needs to technical and functional groups.
  • Strong decision making and influencing skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.

EDUCATION & CERTFICATIONSMinimum of bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, computer science, or related field (Required).

  • Training in project management. Certification preferred.
  • Training and/or experience with predictive modeling and analytics.
  • Minimum of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
