The Role:
The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for the internal corporate recruitment process and hiring outcomes across the Global organization. This position will be the driver of innovation, process improvement and inclusive tactics to attract, assess, and select talent across all corporate levels of the company, with a heavy focus on Sales and Product.
This is both a strategic and tactical role. As a strategic thinker you will create and implement talent acquisition programs that directly impact business results through hiring top talent. Tactically, you will own hiring on key positions across the company with a heavy focus on B2B Sales and Product. This role will collaborate with leaders across the company and members of the People team to ensure high talent density. This position reports to the VP of People.
What you will do:
- Operationalize Elevate K-12’s global hiring process to be best-in-class.
- Execute on hiring top talent across all functions with a specific focus on B2B Sales and Product.
- Build, own and track key metrics and data to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Work cross-functionally with senior leaders to develop hiring strategies and execute them.
- Coach hiring managers on recruiting best practices including interviewing and selection.
- Elevate the employment brand through various strategies and initiatives.
- Lead and develop member(s) of the Talent Acquisition team.
- Ensure the candidate and hiring manager experience is engaging, thoughtful and positive.
- Have a working knowledge and be on the lookout for amazing new tools and trends in the talent acquisition space.
- Recruit amazing talent!
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of recruitment experience.
- 3+ years of talent acquisition team management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or advance degree a plus.
- Demonstrated success hiring top tier B2B Sales and Product talent.
- Demonstrated success hiring Director and Vice President level positions.
- Experience collaborating with global talent acquisition teams.
- Deep knowledge of the applicant tracking system, Greenhouse, and other relevant recruitment and sourcing technologies.
- Thoughtful about candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Strong data-driven approach to building recruitment processes and reporting for scale.
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to coach recruiters.
- Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills across all levels of the organization.
- Strong collaborator and problem solver that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work at our downtown Chicago office 3 days a week.
