Senior Manager - Talent Development

Summary:

The Learning & Enablement Center of Excellence (COE) delivers business-focused, efficient and innovative learning and development programs and experiences, thoughtfully designed to help our employees at every stage of their career. As the leader of the Talent Development team, you are responsible for managing our high-impact programs and ensuring that they are robust and effective enough to meet the needs of our evolving business and talent.

The Learning and Enablement COE focuses on:

  • Cultivating a strong learning culture across the organization
  • A holistic approach to learning and enablement that emphasizes not just education, but also self-awareness, exposure to real-world problems, and connections to people
  • Developing our people to help tackle some of the most complex issues in business while furthering their careers

Job Responsibilities:

  • Foster a high-performing team through advocacy, coaching , mentoring, and training. Inclusive of interviewing and selection, job description development, professional development, goal setting, performance management, as well as oversee salary administration, onboarding and offboarding team members, and corrective action.
  • Develop a portfolio of curricula that cultivates strong learning across the organization that addresses complex business dilemmas, while developing employees' career and professional interests.
  • Own, optimize, and manage your portfolio's operations, including program analysis, budgeting, resources, evaluation, content evolution, deployment technologies, and vendor relationships.
  • Create the annual development plan to execute the curriculum strategy and bring value to the business.
  • Approve the calendarized Micro plan based on the delivery strategy. Actively manage the annual budget and forecast with period-by-period accuracy.
  • Evolve and expand the curriculum, leveraging best practices and future-focused innovations.
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of learner feedback and other necessary data
  • Use data analysis to make recommendations and implement continuous improvements to programs.
  • Drive team project deliverables by effectively managing team resources and ensuring sound project management strategies are implemented to ensure work is appropriately prioritized, project timelines are met, and progress is effectively communicated.
  • Use data analysis to make recommendations and implement continuous improvements to our programs. Collaborate and partner with department and regional leaders to share ideas, leverage work, and cultivate an active culture of learning throughout the organization.
  • Contribute to additional Learning and Enablement initiatives by utilizing expertise and making recommendation to contribute to team and company initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in training and development, human resources development, education, organizational psychology, or related field
  • 8+ years of related experience, or a combination of experience and education
  • 2+ years of management experience, with sound leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Established track record of delivering innovative learning programs with measurable business results that meet stakeholder needs
  • Significant program management experience in successfully planning, managing and delivering multiple, concurrent, and complex work streams in a matrixed organization with aggressive timelines
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills that build relationships at all levels across the organization with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build consensus

Preferred:

  • MBA or other advanced degree in training and development, human resources development, education, organizational psychology, or related field
  • Prior consulting experience
