THE ROLE: Senior Manager, Technical Accounting and Operations
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform technical accounting research for transaction-related events including, but not limited to complex revenue contracts, debt refinancings, equity transactions, recapitalizations and mergers and acquisitions, and advise on applicability of authoritative literature, common industry accounting practices and available alternatives.
- Assist with preparation of the financial statements and footnotes, along with coordination with our external auditors including, but not limited to, business combinations, stock compensation and other technical accounting matters.
- Assist with formal documentation of company accounting positions and policies and manage the preparation of technical accounting whitepapers, including oversight of similar whitepapers issued by our shared services accounting/finance teams.
- Research and manage the implementation of newly issued accounting pronouncements, as well as support accounting staff in the application of existing accounting standards, including the recently issued revenue recognition and lease accounting changes.
- Assist in the preparation and/or review of accounting journal entries associated with complex accounting areas, as applicable.
- Assist with the review of potential mergers and acquisition targets, including reviewing target accounting practices and policies, assessing the impact of Presidio's accounting policies on historical financial results and reviewing financial projections in the context of validating historical accounting policies.
- Oversee the team in preparation of related monthly close activities.
- Prepare/review accounting journal entries, monthly reconciliations, flux analysis.
- Assist with ad hoc requests from FP&A, internal reporting, and others.
- Liaise with external auditors, present significant updates and prepare supporting documentation for the quarterly reviews and year-end audits.

- Strong system and data flow knowledge. Ability to learn and adapt to new process flows and software technologies. High proficiency in advanced MS Excel including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
- Team-oriented approach - can participate as an effective team member as well as work cross-functionally with other organizations.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, related field or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience, including public accounting experience from one of the Big 4 firms or comparable experience.
- CPA Preferred.
- Previous people management experience in Finance/Accounting is essential.
- Salesforce and D365 experience a plus.
