Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Manager, Technical Consulting in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. Contribute to a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies on enabling technologies including the Salesforce Platform. Advise and mentor diverse teams. Provide guidance on application and integration development best practices, Enterprise Architecture standards, functional and technical solution architecture and design, environment management, testing, and Salesforce Platform education. Drive the creation of application and technical design documents which leverage Salesforce best practices and effectively integrate Salesforce into the customer's infrastructure. Troubleshoot key customer implementation issues and demonstrate ability to drive to successful resolution. Review and correct project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts to keep programs on track and solutions extendable and maintainable going forward. Identify and proactively manage risk areas and commit to seeing an issue through to complete resolution. Manage customer expectations, while negotiating solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third-party partners. Build relationships with business partners and contribute to broader goals and growth beyond the scope of a single customer engagement. Contribute to the growth of the Services Practice by identifying and leading internal strategic initiatives, leveraging junior teammates to achieve individual as well as team growth. Serve as an active contributor to the practice knowledge and resource base. Mentor, educate, and enrich technical and non-technical Salesforce customer and partner colleagues. Be a People Leader to up to five direct reports, with the titles of Technical Architect or Senior Technical Architect. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices and various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Apex; (2) Visualforce; (3) Lightning Components; (4) SOAP and REST API; (5) Point and Click Frameworks; (6) Web Technologies; (7) Analytics and Data Analysis solutions; (8) SOQL and SOSL; (9) Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); (10) Databases; (11) Solution Design and Configuration; and (12) Enterprise Architecture designs and principles. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices and various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States may be required.

Salary: $200,304.00 - $265,200.00 per annum.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $184,000 to $276,100.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $167,300 to $230,000.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $176,300 to $253,000.

For Washington D.C based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $184,000 to $253,000.

For Maryland based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $184,000 to $253,000.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $184,000 to $276,100.

For Hawaii-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $167,300 to $230,000.

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $167,300 to $253,000.

For Minnesota based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $167,300 to $230,000.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
