Job Description

Oversees the full scope of territory management and rules of engagement (ROE) activity across national footprint for all lines of Cox Business. This role is responsible for the strategic planning, design, coverage, and execution of territory management for Cox Business, which is vital in supporting future revenue growth and sales effectiveness objectives.
The Sr. Manager of Territory Management manages the development and implementation of initiatives and programs to meet business objectives, elevate overall sales territory management competencies, and increase role effectiveness. Territory strategy will also include process improvement, addition of portfolio enhancements, and new product launches. The successful candidate will improve the overall effectiveness and productivity of the Sales Support organization, build and maintain effective relationships and work closely with stakeholders, both locally and nationally, to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are established and supported within Cox Business.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partnering with Sales and Marketing teams to define lead qualification processes and assign to territory to appropriate channels.
  • Analyzes and/or recommends strategic priorities, sales force performance metrics and sales effectiveness tracking methods to maintain and improve the company's competitive advantage in each market and segment.
  • Partner with sales channel leadership in development and stewardship of territory management rules.
  • Establishes close working relationship and alignment with critical stakeholders in sales, sales support, fulfillment, and market leadership functions.
  • Partners with stakeholders on strategic business planning and initiatives, pilot testing, implementing best practices and optimizing workflow to enhance performance and drive effective resource management to meet or exceed customer and business expectations.
  • Partners with sales leadership to maximize revenue, drive outstanding customer experience and achieve sales efficiency.
  • Engages with corporate leaders to understand new business, markets, and areas of focus.
  • Must be able to learn and use salesforce.com digital analytics technology
  • Promotes positive work environment. Demonstrates enterprise wide thinking by collaborating across regions on special projects and develops, builds, and manages relationships with Center and regional peers.

Qualifications
Minimum
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field (i.e. Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, etc).
    • The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field
  • Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization

Preferred
  • BS/BA degree strongly desired.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role or leading cross functional projects preferred.
  • Experience in telecommunications industry desired.

USD 116,200.00 - 193,600.00 per year
