About the role - Senior Manager, Total Rewards
The Genesis Talent Team is looking for a Senior Manager of Total Rewards to be accountable for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's compensation and benefits program, including directing job evaluation and compensation surveys, salary structures, and developing salary budgets.
Primary responsibilities
- Oversee the creation of policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of equitable and market relevant employee compensation and benefits
- Oversee Total Rewards vendor management and system selection and implementation
- Oversee all Total Rewards administrative processes, policies and practices
- Establish strategic plans for functions/areas owned based on corporate strategy
- Manage change and develop risk mitigation plans
- Work closely with the executive team, Genesis compensation committee and our parent company on our compensation program
- Lead methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people
- Oversee total rewards compliance activities, including but not limited to audits, control plans, process documentation, benefits compliance, pay equity, and pay transparency, and governance
- Accountable for Total Rewards budgeting and planning
- Oversee Total Rewards projects and priorities
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in business management, human resources or related field preferred; Master's degree in human resources or a related field is a plus.
- Compensation and benefits operations thought leaders experience with global capital markets experience preferred
- Expert Excel skills
- Proven results building relationships and building consensus
- Experience as a strategic advisor to senior executives, compensation committees and/or board members
- Ability to thrive within a fast-growing dynamic company that values hard work, fun and strong collaboration.
- Possess resilience, sense of urgency and ability to handle challenging situations as they arise.
