Your Role at Baxter:

Baxter International Inc. is looking for a Treasury Operations Senior Manager with experience in international treasury operations and treasury management systems. The role includes implementing improvements to existing cash management processes as part of our enterprise liquidity management system, Kyriba. The role also includes SOX control management and will work closely with colleagues across the Finance organization to optimize our treasury system and banking partnerships to drive efficiency. This position provides oversight and guidance on all Kyriba treasury related configuration. The role works closely with cross functional finance teams to drive efficiencies in the end-to-end cash processes, including cash management, cash forecasting, cash accounting, third party payments, interest rates, corporate audit and internal controls. This is a "hands-on" role reporting directly to the Director of Global Cash Process and Americas and APAC Cash Management.

What You'll be Doing:

• Provide direct management and oversight to a team located in Deerfield responsible for bank account management with Baxter's 5 core banking partners, as well as management of Treasury third party contracts / systems and SOX Compliance testing
• Assist in driving strategy, integration, and process transformation to enable the highest level of automation in cash processes. Assist with current state assessments to identify and complete on opportunities to standardize daily processes.
• Participate in Cross-functional finance meetings for various transformation and separation management activities to help bridge the gap between Cash/Banking and other key processes (including P2P, C2C, Payroll, IT/GFAM)
• Ensure timely management of banking tasks related to ongoing Business Development deals and divestitures.
• Manage Baxter's global use of Kyriba, including workflow, troubleshooting issues and ticket management of Kyriba Support cases. Participate in monthly service review meetings with Kyriba Customer Service team. Interact with treasury team members and other stakeholders on reporting needs and requirements. Co-lead system implementations, upgrades, and process optimization
• Develop and implement plans to effectively operationalize treasury tools and processes including cash management, transaction management, banking relationships, and master data for Treasury Systems.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of core data in treasury systems such as banks, bank accounts, mapping rules, reports, report templates, intercompany partnerships, and standard settlement instructions for intercompany and third-party transactions. Provide approvals for dual administration change requests.
• Maintain and monitor compliance with Treasury SOX documentation and controls. Facilitates auditor walkthroughs and audit reviews.
• Leads user set-up/removal of users in treasury auxiliary trading portals (ICD, FXALL, Chatham), as well as maintaining these relationships and troubleshooting issues.
• Accountable for soliciting SOC1 reports and bridge letters from all treasury-related vendors and own the reviews for each to meet annual reporting requirements.
• Serves as subject matter expert on the operations team to troubleshoot any market data issues including FX and Interest rate issues.
• Develops and leads banking and payment structure integrations in collaboration with other Baxter system upgrades/implementations.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or IT related field preferred
• CPA/CTP preferred
• 7 plus years of proven experience in treasury and/or systems management/implementations
• Proven ability to be a trusted advisor and expert in Kyriba solutioning and troubleshooting
• Familiarity or experience with finance systems and treasury operations a major plus
• Aptitude for systems management, problem solving and training users
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with global teams
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $112,000 to $216,000 plus an equity target of $10,000. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
