Senior Manager, US Region People Partner
Job Description
ASM is looking for a Senior Manager, US Region People Partner in Phoenix, AZ. ASM's US population is expected to grow to approximately 325 US based employees, managers, and directors by year end. This is a high impact role with the opportunity to develop and influence people strategies to support ASM's growth. The role reports into the Head of People, US.
The ideal candidate will be someone that:
- Delivers pro-active support towards key stakeholders, anticipates on business needs
- Has an emphasis on strategic activities, such as organization & leadership development, culture and engagement, employer of choice and strategic workforce planning
- Focuses on understanding business strategy and competitive landscape (Business acumen)
- Establishes a solid understanding of the business, build and expand relationships with program leadership teams, and create close partnerships across HR centers of excellence (COE's)
- Identifies trends, risks, and opportunities within the organization and develop solutions in partnership with programs
- Provides business insight through data analytics, research and benchmarking to inform and recommend solutions to enable business growth
- Plays a key change leadership role in the company's transformation by reinforcing a culture supported by the ASM Core Values: We Deliver, We innovate, We Care.
- Is Leadership Development-focused on comprehensive succession planning
- Has a consultative approach to senior leaders in the business including providing coaching and solutions to solve complex challenges.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and a minimum of 10 years of HR experience, or a master's degree in HR related field with a minimum of 8 years of HR experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate within various levels of the organization and excellent negotiation skills
- Demonstrated leadership and relationship building skills
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, implement, and close multiple projects
- Has the capacity to understand people issues impacting the business
- Possesses the proven ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally
- Has proven ability to influence others
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrates initiative to identify and anticipate needs and make recommendations for implementation
- Experience working in a global environment is preferred
