Job Description

As our Warehouse Manager, you will play a key role in SmartRent’s distribution network by providing continuous flow of products to ensure installations run smoothly and finish on time. This position will consist of leading an effective warehouse team that delivers and distributes products and materials to SmartRent’s field installation team. 

Responsibilities

  • Establish daily assignments to ensure sales orders are prioritized and fulfilled based upon business and client needs.
  • Coach and train warehouse associates on proper and safe execution of warehouse duties.
  • Exhibits in-depth knowledge of all warehouse roles and tasks.
  • Work cross functionally with implementation, field, and warehouse team leadership. 
  • Investigates and establishes root cause of picking, shipping, and receiving errors.
  • Implements corrective action plans when necessary. 
  • Run and maintain daily reports. 
  • Maintain a “Safety First” working environment

Required Qualifications

  • Proven ability in leading diverse groups of people. 
  • Advanced experience in warehouse SOP’s.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated history using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). 
  • Advanced computer skills using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office e.g. Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Must work well with groups and be able to function independently of direct supervision. 
  • Minimum 6 years of experience working in a warehouse environment as a manager overseeing 15+ associates.
  • BA/BS college degree or its equivalent. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with smart home devices, IoT, smart home technologies 
  • Previous experience writing procedures and work instructions
  • Familiarity with 5S/lean principles
  • NetSuite proficiency 
  • Previous PIT experience
  • Hazmat certifications
  • Experience with Salesforce
