Senior Manager, Web Design

Responsibilities: 

• Manage a team of 3+ web and digital designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Develop and implement design processes, standards, and best practices.
• Define and drive the visual design direction for web applications and marketing sites.
• Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across products.
• Collaborate with product marketing, digital experience team, web developers, and other stakeholders to align design with business goals.
• Conduct design research, analyze user feedback, and inform design decisions.

• 8+ years of experience in web design, with 3+ years in a leadership/management role. 
• Portfolio showcasing expertise in visual design, user experience, and product design. 
• Strong understanding of design principles, user research, and human-centered design. 
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. 
• Experience managing designers, providing constructive feedback, and guiding career development. 
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks. 
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. 
•  Experience with Agile development methodologies 
• Knowledge of design systems and style guides 
•  Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) 
• Certification in design or related field (e.g., UX Design, Design Thinking) 
• Experience with design tools: Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma  
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles, user-centered design methodologies 
• Knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1) 
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (front-end development) 
• Project management tools (Jira, Monday)
