The Senior Manager/Associate Director, CMC Project Management will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Alpine’s novel therapies for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. You will manage diverse teams in CMC and technical operations with a focus on development, manufacturing, regulatory, quality and more to support our robust therapeutic portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strong soft skills, communication abilities, relationship-building expertise, and technical prowess to excel in this role. This role will report into the Head of Program and Alliance Management within a cross-functional Project Management Organization (PMO).

Key Responsibilities
•Serve as project manager for CMC, TechOps, Reg. CMC, and Quality teams driving project execution to achieve strategic goals.
•Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for initiatives and workstreams and drive teams to efficient goal achievement.
•Serve as a source of information for departmental activities and provide clear direction and guidance to team members to ensure project objectives are met.
•Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
•Facilitate functional governance meetings to drive strategic decision making.
•Lead functional sub-team meetings to plan and track activities, identify and triage issues, and develop solution recommendations.
•Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including team members, senior management, and partners.
•Act as a liaison between departments, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and alignment of project objectives.
•Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, resolve conflicts, and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
•Establish and/or support departmental and organizational reporting/dashboarding to drive clarity and transparency including integration of clinical considerations into cross-functional plans.
•Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement across departments.
•Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate tools and software to streamline workflows.
•Take a leadership role in planning, organizing, and executing supplier partnership activities.

Desired Skills And Experience
•At least 8 years of project management experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
•At least 5 years of experience working in one or more of the following fields: product development, manufacturing, CMC, process engineering, and/or analytical development, preferably in biologics.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a science or health-related field.
•Strong track record of successful project management, process improvement, and technology implementation.
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
•Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and to inspire and motivate teams.
•Proficiency in project management tools and software.
•Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
•Highly motivated and thrives in a fast-paced innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
•Strong technology skills including PowerPoint, MS Project, Excel, MS Teams, Smartsheet.

At Alpine we engage equitable workplace strategies to ensure fair compensation. Actual compensation is dependent upon current market data, experience, and pay parity within our organization. This is a Manager level position up to an Associate Director, with a compensation range of $150,000 to $170,000 for a Senior Manager and $165,000 to $185,000 for an Associate Director. In order to be considered for a position, candidates must be located in one of the following five states: CA, MA, NC, OR, or WA.
