Senior Manual QA Engineer

About the project:
Our client is an award-winning global tax services and software provider, is the largest Firm in the world dedicated exclusively to business taxes. With global headquarters in Texas, the Firm provides an integrated suite of federal, state, local, and international tax services on a multijurisdictional basis, including tax recovery, consulting, advocacy, compliance, and technology services.
The project will require developing of a new software solution from scratch using .Net framework, custom UI framework and Azure Cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze requirements and technical documents, providing timely feedback
• Perform test execution of the web application
• Identify and manage risks
• Prioritize and plan testing activities
• Lead project testing efforts
• Develop best practices for QA processes
• Follow Agile principles to deliver high-quality work
• Participate in daily meetings and planning with a customer
• Perform API testing

Requirements:

•  4+ years of commercial experience as a Quality Engineer in testing web applications
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Skillful in writing test cases and other test documentation
• Experience using bug-tracking tools such as Jira and/or similar bug-tracking tools
• Experience with working in an Agile environment and CI/CD-driven testing culture
• Working experience with DBs: both SQL and no-SQL (MongoDB, Redis, etc)
• Strong at REST API testing (Postman, Swagger)
• Upper-intermediate level of English

Nice to have:

• Automation experience using Playwright
