Senior Manufacturing Engineer

• Support transformation and scaling of current engine production lines, including sub system assembly and test 
• Support technicians on the floor for daily issues and drive solid RCCA approach to solving problems
• Take technical ownership of engine assemblies and components, leading rework and disposition decisions as necessary 
• Drive systematic improvements to visual factory, production processes, yield, and cost
• Work collaboratively with REs on design for manufacture and assembly in production; champion DFMA in early development
• Support manufacturing development efforts in multiple technical areas such as 3D printing, machining, welding, forming, and brazing  
• Lead strategic insourcing efforts across the manufacturing landscape 

Required Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years in a fast-paced manufacturing role 
• Hands-on experience with hardware 

Desired Experience: 

• Experience in development and production of liquid propulsion engines / flight engine hardware
• Experience with 5-axis machining; hands on machine operation or working knowledge 
• Experience and working knowledge of with laser powder bed fusion / additive processes 
• Experience with Siemens NX, CREO, Windchill, ERP Systems
• Experience with NPI Processes, Lean/Six Sigma, DFMA, Continuous Improvement
• Experience in an AS9100 environment

Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $95,000 - $140,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
