We are seeking a Senior Market Research Analyst to join our Marketing Analytics & Measurement team. In this pivotal role you will dive deep into the web3 ecosystem conducting thorough customer segmentation market analysis and brand tracking to inform and guide our product development and go-to-market (GTM) strategies. You will work closely with both Marketing and Product Strategy to uncover actionable insights and inform our strategic direction. Your research will elucidate customer jobs-to-be-done the prevailing market trends affecting the web3 space and how our brand is perceived among early web3 adopters as well as mainstream consumers.
What You’ll Do:

Use both on-chain and off-chain data to understand consumer and developer behavior segment our current and future customers and evaluate how well our product roadmap aligns with their preferences and needs.

Perform in-depth market analysis using non-traditional data sources and methods to identify emergent trends within the web3 ecosystem and understand the implications for our product and GTM strategies

Design and execute targeted survey-based research projects to gather insights on customer preferences satisfaction levels and unmet needs within the web3 ecosystem.

Lead social listening and brand tracking initiatives to measure consumer and developer perceptions identify the qualities or attributes that matter most to web3 stewardship and benchmark our performance against competitors

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management marketing and data analytics to integrate market research findings into our strategic planning process.

Present findings insights and recommendations to leadership through well-crafted reports and presentations ensuring that data-driven decisions can be made effectively

Stay abreast of the latest research methodologies and data analysis tools relevant to the web3 industry ensuring our research practices are cutting-edge

Support the development of a knowledge base that houses all insights related to customer behavior market trends and brand performance.
Would be great if you brought to the role:

Resourceful persistent and creative problem solver who enjoys hacking on wicked problems
-
Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects from design to execution including both qualitative and quantitative research methods
-
Mastery of SQL and at least one other quantitative programming language (e.g. Python R etc.); familiarity with major NLP libraries/packages also desirable

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse non-technical audiences

Proven track record of working effectively on cross-functional teams and managing projects with multiple stakeholders
-
Evident interest in blockchain and web3 with an intrinsic drive to learn and adapt in a highly dynamic and rapidly evolving environment

8+ years of experience in market research data science or a similar quantitative field
