As a Senior Marketer, Campaign Management - Tradeshows & Events within the Corporates Marketing, Campaign Planning and Management team, you will be responsible for working on all aspects of our large tradeshows including event strategy, managing event logistics, tracking deadlines and deliverables, internal partners, vendor and agency management, reporting and other aspects of tradeshow planning.

More About the Role

In this opportunity as Sr. Marketer, Campaign Management - Tradeshows & Events, you will:
  • Work on some of the largest tradeshows around the globe and develop creative, modern tradeshow programs and events to engage our customer and prospect base.
  • Be bold - experiment with creative ideas to differentiate the Thomson Reuters brand at top industry tradeshows
  • Closely collaborate with the segment marketing team as well as central events, product marketing, BDRs, product, and sales in strategy, development, delivery and performance measurement of tradeshow campaigns and programs.
  • Join forces with internal marketing teams, analytics, BDRs and sales teams to manage, track and report on event ROI including management of tradeshow leads and opportunities. Leverage this data to report back to segment marketing team on successes, trends and ROI to further understand event impact.
  • Utilize strong project management skills to deliver programs and events on time. Be accountable for end-to-end management of in-person, hybrid, and fully virtual events.
  • Rethink what value the modern tradeshow brings to our customers and build meaningful customer experiences and thought leadership that allows clients and prospects to interact and build connections.
  • Leverage internal event coordination support and external partners including vendors and agencies.
  • Follow project templates to complete tasks and keep events well organized - as well as adapt existing process with best practices and put your fingerprint on event planning to gain greater efficiency.


About You

You could be a fit for the Sr. Marketer, Campaign Management - Tradeshows & Events role if your background includes:
  • 5 to 7 years in tradeshow event space or demand generation for cloud-based software and/or business service providers
  • Baseline understanding and highly enthusiastic about learning/leveraging marketing technology to deploy integrated campaigns (Marketing Automation Platforms, Digital Analytics tools, Webinar and events tools, CRM systems).
  • Creative, customer-first mindset that prioritizes creating memorable experiences for our customer base.
  • High-Energy, Self-starter that can motivate and drive collaboration across teams.
  • Team player with the ability to foster strong relationships across multiple levels and functions within the organization - including working closely with marketing, sales, product and operations teams to succeed and grow.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks, solve problems, and be adaptable.
  • Understanding of modern B2B demand generation best practices including integrating online and offline marketing tactics to reach, connect and convert prospects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and related operating/productivity tools.
  • Positive attitude, adaptable to change.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Able to Travel for Business (1 to 2 trips per month for a few days at a time).
