Description

The senior marketing analyst will identify target groups for promotional campaigns, perform and report ROI of campaigns. Our analysts develop strategies for member and product growth in conjunction with business unit owners and analyze promotional results and product trends. This role will seek out third party service providers to meet our members' needs and to increase non-interest income. As an analyst, this role will gather, compile and analyze data as well as other market research and competitive intelligence resources.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an administrator for the Predictive Analytics (PA) System. Duties to include, but not limited to, data formatting and transfer, marketing channel and PA data integration with emphasis on electronic media, and program reporting.
  • Research product and service pricing and terms, including competitive factors, relative value to members, operational costs, etc. Provide marketing research upon request of senior management such as product profitability, predictive behavior, forecasting and statistical analysis. Monitor product sales performance and suggest revisions to marketing and sales efforts as needed.
  • Serve as primary administrator of the Intuvo system for the purposes of consumer and mortgage lending communications enhancement, new member onboarding, as well as future Intuvo communications programs.
  • Serve as an administrator for the Predictive Analytics (PA) System. Duties to include, but not limited to, data formatting and transfer, marketing channel and PA data integration with emphasis on electronic media, and program reporting.
  • Serve as an administrator for BFSFCU's transactional service quality program. Assist in creation of demographic and transaction sample files, survey content, employee training and access to the database results system, and reporting as required.
  • Track, analyze, and report the performance of BFSFCU Global Rewards program for use by the Marketing and Business Development Department. Member movement between levels, relevant product and service tracking, and program profitability etc. will be followed over time and reported.
  • Create cost benefit analyses for promotional efforts, including, but not limited to, forecasting penetration rates, approval rates, closure rates, anticipated income vs. expenses, and ROI analysis.
  • Incorporate primary and secondary data elements to produce targeted lists (for direct mail, email, cross-selling intelligence and other communications vehicles) including useful database elements to promote greater product penetration and usage of existing products. Provide tracking support for same.
  • Responsible for the updating, maintenance and customization of member information data (through cView, Raddon, and various other resources) to fit the needs of BFSFCU. This may include but is not limited to daily operations and support, loading source files, appending files/enhancements as needed, maintaining periodic reports, producing customer research reports, and tracking promotional campaigns.
  • Maintain lead generation software and lists, as well as daily, weekly, and monthly survey programs.
  • Serve as lead contact and processor of our Onboarding and Member Engagement Initiatives through our partners. This includes, but is not limited to, sending source files to vendors, retrieving target information, emailing collateral to targets, maintenance of collateral, and distribution of results.
  • Maintain a relationship and serve as secondary contact with appropriate research/data vendors to ensure the exchange of information about products and services including new products, software updates, custom software, and system maintenance.
  • Maintain effective communication with BFSFCU employees and vendors, as appropriate, to ensure coordination and exchange of information for furthering and/or accomplishing Business Development/BFSFCU goals and objectives.
  • Create marketing reports to show ROI of marketing campaigns.
  • Assist all BFSFCU staff as needed in facilitation and interpretation of marketing research elements, including, but not limited to, member surveys, marketing analytics, and demographic data.
  • Responsible for the creation and retention of documentation, instructions, checklists and batch files for reports, information requests, and special projects as assigned.
  • Act and communicate in a manner that creates and maintains a positive work atmosphere with members, vendors, co-workers and management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Requirements

Education, experience, and knowledge/abilities:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Data Analytics or related field
  • At least 5 years of related marketing or data analytics experience or a combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of the Credit Union or financial services, preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of BFSFCU products and services
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and database concepts
  • Ability to work flexible hours and from home
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently
