Senior Marketing Analyst

What you will do
As a Senior Market Insights Associate you will be responsible for providing market, industry, and competitive intelligence to portfolio and finance teams that inform strategy and development decisions. Information will be gathered through primary (qualitative and quantitative) and secondary research. The position will involve regular interactions with external customers and vendors as well as presentation to internal stakeholders.
- Supports the assessment of the market positioning and strengths/weaknesses of key competitors
- Understands the various reasons (variables) of why customers buy the product or service
- Gathers and applies market research in decision making
- Understands and communicates how our organization compares to others in the industry
- Knows the market positioning and strengths of key competitors
- Collects customer insights for segmentation
- Explains measurements of business performance and able to identify trends
- Assists in vendor selection for RFPs and the creation of RFPs
- Ensures appropriate internal stakeholders are included
- Works on complex problems, applying experience and learnings
- Demonstrates ownership and prioritizes work with minimal supervision
- Learns how financial models are constructed
- Builds a strong network of stakeholders who can be leveraged for feedback
- Contributes specific analyses to aid in the construction of the marketing plan
- Provides metrics and updates back to the larger group on applicable individual segments of the process
- Examines past and current research requests to identify most common topics and questions
What you need
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years of work experience required
- 2+ years market research experience preferred
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
